How teik.it was born
Like many of us, I've experienced firsthand what it means to need a tool or object for work or everyday life and not be able to afford it, forgoing a potential income, or knowing that, once purchased, it would remain almost unused.
It is from here that the story of Teik.it took shape.
As we embarked on this journey with Roberto, we shared the goal of building a place where inclusion, kindness, and generosity are the order of the day. Sharing is more than just objects: it represents an opportunity to create connections and solidarity. I've always dreamed of building a magical place where everyone can realize their potential, a place where people can find value in sharing what they have and access what they need easily and safely.
The mission of Teik.it is to transform sharing into a lifestyle, a way to restore balance, optimizing and sharing the available resources.

About us
Teik.it is a non-profit, created to promote sharing and reduce environmental impact. We connect those who have things they don't use often with those who need them to work, study, or live better, without having to buy everything new. Our goal is to make sharing a daily lifestyle: fewer unused items, more shared resources, more opportunities for everyone. We organize awareness-raising activities, tell stories of responsible consumption, and are building an active community in our neighborhoods, starting with Rome.
Teik.it isn't just a marketplace: it's a nonprofit initiative that uses the peer-to-peer rental model to generate social and environmental impact. The project's revenue is reinvested to grow the platform, promote circular economy events, and engage more people in sharing.
