teik.it is a private rental platform that allows users to list and rent various items and equipment. Users can search and reserve the desired items, set rental terms, and complete the transaction securely and conveniently.

To register on teik.it, visit the website and click on the “Register” button at the top of the page or simply click here. Follow the instructions to create an account using your email address or by signing up with Google.

At the moment, teik.it is available in Rome and its surroundings in Beta version. In the future, you will be able to rent items in different cities or regions. Make sure to select the desired location/area when searching for items.

To rent an item, you must register on teik.it and search for the desired item using the search bar or the available categories. Select the item, check availability and book the rental dates. Communicate with the owner for any doubts, establish the details of the pick-up and return.

On teik.it you can find a wide range of items available for rental, including sports equipment, electronics, household items, DIY items, gardening and much more.

teik.it accepts several secure online payment methods, including most credit, debit, prepaid and ATM cards.

The rental cost of each item is determined by the owner and may vary depending on the length of the rental and the characteristics of the item itself. The price is clearly shown in the item's ad.

Renting an item on Teik.it is simple and convenient. All you have to do is create an advert and we will take care of the promotion. For each item rented on our platform, we apply a small commission of 20% of the user's total earnings. which allows us to maintain the platform and guarantee a quality service. In return, you will have access to a large community of users interested in DIY, adventure and parties.

Users are required to treat items with care and respect during the rental. In case of damage, it is advisable to communicate promptly with the owner to resolve the situation. It is also essential to communicate it to us promptly so that we can help you resolve the situation as best as possible. You can contact us by sending an email to info@teik.it and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Some items may require a deposit which will be refunded at the end of the rental if the item is returned in good condition.

Yes, teik.it users can leave a review after each rental. This helps create a trusted sharing community and provide useful feedback to other users.

To make an item available for rental, you must be registered on teik.it. Then, from your profile you can click on 'publish an ad' and create an ad for your item, specifying the features, rental conditions and price.

teik.it uses secure online payment methods provided by Stripe to ensure the safety of transactions. In addition, the site provides detailed information on user profiles and reviews from other users that will help you make informed decisions before concluding a rental.

For those who rent:

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of booking and before the rental start date, you will be fully refunded.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of booking but before the rental start date, you will receive a refund minus a 40% fee of the rental amount.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your rental start date, you will not receive a refund.
  • If the owner cancels a rental, you will receive a full refund and assistance from teik.it to find an alternative.
  • If the owner does not show up to deliver the item, you can get a full refund by contacting teik.it within 12 hours of the start date.
  • If the owner and the renter do not reach an agreement on the pick-up time, teik.it may cancel the rental.

For owners:

  • Cancelling a rental within 48 hours of the start date may incur a fee up to the full value of the rental.
  • Please note that canceling rentals may impact your landlord rating and your chances of being classified as a Super Landlord.

You can contact the owner of an item through teik.it's internal messaging system. Once you have made a reservation, you will have access to the owner's contact information to coordinate the rental details.

We recommend that you contact the owner in case of questions or problems during the rental. If necessary, you can contact teik.it customer support at info@teik.it, we will reply to you as soon as possible and will do our best to reply within 24/48 hours. We are available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00. 

You can contact the owner of the item and ask if it is possible to extend the rental period. However, the availability will depend on the availability of the item and the previous arrangements.
