Teik.it, the Roman platform for the rental and swap of objects between private individuals, is thrilled to announce its fifth appointment with the Swap Shop, and this time it lands for the first time in the lively Appio Latino neighborhood, in collaboration with Expats Living in Rome, the largest expat community in the capital!
After the success of previous events, which have animated different areas of Rome, bringing with them a wave of sustainable exchanges, we are happy to invite you Sunday 27th April from 10:30 to 13:30 a La Veranda (Ponte Lungo – Metro A) for a special edition of our beloved Swap Shop, enriched by a tasty brunch and organized in synergy with Expats Living in Rome.
What is Teik.it Swap Shop?
For those who don't know yet Teik.it, we are an organization that promotes sharing and sustainability in Rome, making it easy rental, the swap and barter of objects at a local level. Our Swap Shop are live events where the community meets to give new life to objects that are no longer used, exchanging them for something "new" and useful. It is a fun, economical and ecological way to renew your things and make new acquaintances, embracing the philosophy of swap.
The Fifth Appointment of Swapshop by teik.it lands at Appio Latino, with the support of Expats Living in Rome!
We are particularly excited to bring our Swap Shop for the first time in the dynamic Appio Latino neighborhood! This fifth appointment represents a further step in our journey to make the barter and swap an increasingly widespread and accessible practice in Rome, complementary to the rental offered by our platform, with the active involvement of the largest expat network in the city.
What to bring and what to expect:
Bring with you up to 10 objects in good condition that you no longer use. Here are some ideas of what you can bring:

Artwork or prints 🎨
Household items (e.g. decorations, utensils) 🏠

Small appliances 🔌
Board games or puzzles ♟️

Swap them for 'new' items and surprise yourself!
How the swap works:
you can bring up to 10 items in excellent condition (not broken or damaged)
Teik.itwill evaluate them with some credits(from 1 to 5)
You will receive the 150% of the value in credits to use to buy other items*
(Example: you bring 10 items = you can take 15)
No clothes, there are other swap parties for those!

Fried stuffed bombetta (3 flavors) 🧆
Scrambled eggs with bacon or other vegetarian option to be confirmed🥓🍳
American pancakes with panela syrup 🥞
Granola with organic Greek yogurt 🥣
Shortcrust pastry crumble with grandma's cream 🍰

💰Costs:
Brunch buffet: 20€, to be paid directly to La Veranda
